Why do you use Hemp in your products?

Hemp is an incredible plant with so many benefits. We use hemp in our products for many reasons; it's one of the best oils to put on your skin due to its intense nutritive and regenerative properties. With it's high levels of GLA's (gamma linoleic acids) and EFA's (essential fatty acids) it's the perfect choice for skin care. Hemp oil also does not clog your pores.  We want your skin to breathe! After all, it IS the largest organ of absorption in your body! Secondly, we want to support the hemp movement and help diminish the stigma associated with this plant. Did you know the hemp plant is highly effective in phytoremediation? This means the plant can actually pull out toxins in the soil left behind from  from industrial farming and pollution. With the plethora of healing benefits this plant has to offer for our bodies and our planet, simply stated, we LOVE hemp! 

I love your facial oils. My skin is now glowing. I noticed a little bit of breakout though when I first used them, is that normal?

Yes! It certainly doesn't happen all the time, but it is normal to experience a little skin detox when switching from one product to another. When first using facial oils, your skin can go through a transition period where it excretes extra oils as it is getting balanced, and a few blemishes are possible. If this happens, try applying a smaller amount and mixing it with the toner in the palm of your hand before applying. Try this technique for a few days, and keep going! Your skin will thank you. :)
